I'm Dr. Nikki Stewart, a proud New York City native dedicated to serving others through education, mentorship, and community leadership. The values that guide my work were instilled by my late grandparents and my parents, who taught me the importance of compassion, service, and helping others recognize their potential.

​

My educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from the University of Mount Saint Vincent, a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, and a Doctor of Education from St. John Fisher University. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to empowering students and families through education, advocacy, and leadership.

​

For more than 25 years, I have served in health and human services, nonprofit organizations, higher education, and community engagement. Those experiences inspired me to establish Young Women Lead 2—a place where young women receive mentorship, leadership development, and the support they need to confidently pursue higher education and achieve their goals.

​

I believe preparing for college is about more than academics. It is about building confidence, discovering purpose, and knowing that someone believes in your potential. Every young woman deserves guidance, encouragement, and opportunities to grow into the leader she is meant to become.

One of the principles that guides my work comes from Maya Angelou: "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." I strive to ensure every student and family we serve feels valued, supported, and empowered.
